Water heaters — hydraulic connections

A leak or unusual pressure around a water heater may involve a connection, valve or safety group.

Situations that can be reviewed

The location of the water, when it appears and how the safety group behaves guide the check of the appliance’s hydraulic components.

  • Continuous dripping from the safety group
  • A leak at an inlet or outlet connection
  • Unusual hot-water pressure or flow
  • A water connection needs adapting

How a request is prepared

Describe the symptoms, location and level of urgency. Photos can add useful context. The team then checks the relevant trade, area and availability before any intervention and its conditions are confirmed.

Safety first

Do not remove covers or block the safety group. If water reaches a cable or electrical connection, do not touch the appliance and keep the area clear.
